About

Hi, I'm Shannon. I make shirts so I don't have to talk to people about my hobbies out loud.

Let's get the basics out of the way: I'm a mom in my mid-30s, I work a very normal, very spreadsheet-heavy job in Finance and IT (procurement, if you're nasty), and somewhere along the way I became the kind of person who has horror podcasts queued up before her coffee finishes brewing.

I'm not sure when "I like spooky stuff" turned into "I have opinions about haunted house attractions" turned into "I now run a shirt company," but here we are. Honestly, it tracks.

A few things you should know about me

I'm morbidly fascinated by true crime in a way that probably concerns my coworkers. I will absolutely scare you if given the opportunity, and I will absolutely not feel bad about it. I once spent actual money to walk through a haunted corn maze in October rain, and I'd do it again.

I also did a short stint in the Army, which mostly taught me how to function on very little sleep — a skill that, coincidentally, comes in handy when you're running a small business at midnight after the kids are finally down.

By day, I'm deep in finance and procurement, which means I spend a lot of time being responsible, detail-oriented, and extremely normal. By night, I'm designing shirts about murder, candy canes, and "Slothingham, the City of Subdued Excitement." It's a whole personality, and I've stopped apologizing for it.

Why Cascade Corner exists

Honestly? Because I couldn't find shirts that were funny enough, weird enough, or horror-obsessed enough for my taste — so I started making them myself. Turns out a lot of you feel the same way.

Cascade Corner is for the people who love a good scare, appreciate a dark sense of humor, and want a wardrobe that says "I'm fun at parties, but I will also tell you way too much about a 1970s cold case." If that's you, welcome. You're exactly who I made this for.

What you'll find here:

Bold graphic tees and cozy hoodies, printed to order, made with way too much love (and probably one too many true crime episodes playing in the background while I design them).

Every shirt is made in small batches, with a lot of care and a healthy dose of chaos. I'm not a huge corporation — I'm one mom with a laptop, a love of horror movies, and a genuine excitement every time someone orders something I made.

Thanks for being here. Now go pick a shirt that's a little too on-brand for you. I believe in you.
🖤
